Most of our roles open with a specific need — a client engagement we've just won, or a gap we've felt for a few months. By the time the role goes up, we've often already been talking to two or three candidates we've been quietly tracking.
If you're an operator, engineer, AI specialist, or fractional / contract advisor working in or around the AU mid-market, and you'd consider working with us at some point, we'd genuinely love to know.
What we tend to look for
- Engineers — TypeScript / Node / AWS / Python; bias toward integration + data work
- AI specialists — people who've actually shipped LLM-backed systems, not just prototyped them
- Fractional advisors — CIOs, CTOs, ops leaders who want to do interesting work without the full-time gig
- Designers + writers — we don't have steady design or content needs yet but we will, and we like building those relationships early
What happens after you apply
- Tom reads every open application personally
- If your background looks like a fit for something on our radar, we'll set up a coffee within a fortnight
- If not, you'll hear back within 5 business days — no ghosting
- We keep your details on file (HubSpot, opt-out anytime) and reach out if a fit comes up
